SELLER SAYS: 1947 Velocette KSS for sale. 350cc OHC engine completely rebuilt from the ground up by former champion Velocette racer David Morse. The engine is virtually new. Thurston belt drive primary and clutch. 12-volt conversion, Kubota alternator. Tim Thearle fully rebuilt manual advance magneto. High compression engine running 8.5:1 compression which can easily be lowered by inserting decompression plates. Oil pressure gauge. Fully refurbished Amal carburettor. Starts very easily. Originally despatched from the factory to Borgelt Motors, Adelaide, in June 1947. 1947 MSS frame, which has had the sidebar lugs removed for racing. Frame neck has been strengthened in accordance with recommendations by Norm Trigg. Built to be ridden reliably: not a concours showpiece but has solid foundations should you wish to go down that path. Comes with spares, manuals, books, and tools. New brakes, rims, spokes, tyres.
