Whenever I ask my doctor about any supplement, they all tell me not to take it so I stopped talking to my doctor about nutrition. They don't know what they're talking about.

I’ve been taking a relatively high dose 12% astaxanthin of a very well known brand (bioastin) every day for over 11 years now. I have noticed subtle differences in my skin, i haven’t noticed any UV protection from it but then again I am very fair! I take it at night as when I first started taking it I was convinced it helped with sleep. I might mix a capsule in with some moisturiser after watching this video, thanks 😊

So interesting! I recently started taking a supplement by Jarrow called Carotenall specifically because I became interested in DNA repair enzymes. I’m looking forward to trying a topical as well.

Hi Chris that's something I have never heard anything about.
Do you use it both topical and internally? If you do have you noticed any changes to your face? Just curious 🤨... hope your having a great week so far!!!
Thank you for all your hard work!

It's also a dye. 2% astaxanthin powder is a very deep red, almost black. How are you going to incorporate that in sufficient amounts into a product?

I take 4 mg twice a day and my skin is pretty supple at 57. But it’s hard to say if the astaxanthin is directly helping because I take a ton of other supplements to like collagen and grapeseed extract

It helps other antioxidants not to become pro-oxidant. It keeps everybody in his own lane.

Where in the skin care routine should this product go, with serums? Moisturizing? Would I continue to use collagen?

Exactly the answer to the question I needed, which is: Can a person with an autoimmune condition ( in my case Lupus) safely take this without doctor’s advice. Answer: Maybe not, check with your doc.
Thank you so much! 🙏
