I swear each year Samsung takes a pole of features most used by customers and shaves off 1 or 2 for the next model. Ironically, they are usually the cheapest items. The volume and power buttons will likely be next.

Just upgraded from S10 to S23. Don't know why they got rid of the sensor. Nothing like downloading additional apps to constantly smudge your camera with finger prints to get a reading that may/may not be accurate

It works fine, tested it with an official bloodpressure meter and one point difference. I expect they didn't remove it, possibly a liability issue, is an option.

Me and wife had the Note 8 but she upgraded recently to the S23 Ultra. Disappointed that theres no heart rate sensor.
