Blender Animation Problem: Bone Target wont Move Model with inverse kinematics

This is a quick fix if your bone target is not working in inverse kinematics. This will solve your problem if you grab or rotate the bone but nothing happens other than the bone rotating about its own tail.

It was me. Many of the forum posts I could find on this issue said something about parenting, but they didn't specify WHICH parenting or where to undo it.

My bone detached from the bone that it used to be a parented with when I as you said in the video. Is that normal?
