1) Data source should contain date column.
2) Go to Power Pivot tab, select "Table Tools" from tab.
3) Select "New Column" to add a new calculated column.
4) "Add Calculated Column" dialog box appears.
5) Rename your new "Calculated Column".
6) Enter Power BI DAX Function "MINX".
7) Within "MINX", enter Power BI DAX Functions "FILTER" and select table.
8) Assign conditions with Power BI DAX Functions "EARLIEST" and select column.
9) Find earliest date in Power BI date column.
