How to pass the physical at MEPS.

I did MEPS today. It was a smooth process for me, Thankfully.

Just be sure you can Duck Walk. That is very important. As the MEPS doctors like to say, "If you can't duck walk at MEPS, how the heck will you be able to duck walk in combat?"

I have a herniated disc, I've had it scanned. But its not technically a "physical injury" just nerve pain, which ive managed to push through, im in the best shape of my life, better than ever but im so nervous they will fail me for this.

So if you’ve never had any injuries or illnesses (besides the flu) and you don’t have any paperwork, what do you recommend?

Good thing the doc who did my physical was a prior service USN officer vet. Had he been a civy, i’d be screwed 😩

When if you only had asthma temporarily like for example I was going through mild asthma due to spring weather and was only using an inhaler for two weeks and this was two years ago in 2023 and currently now I am no longer going through asthma at all and I never even had it in my childhood

I got released from therapy (from depression) because my therapist felt service was no longer necessary, do you think I’ll be denied? I’ve already tried just in case they ask and they told me to go through my primary care physician but I don’t have one

What if you have wing scapula on a shoulder and can barely raise your arm over your shoulder??

I go to MEP’s on Monday I hyper extended my MCL 4 years ago but when to PT and am fully recovered is this going to be an issue?

Plan on joining the military put when I was 16 I dislocated my elbow & broke my radius bone & lost 15% of fully extending my arm but was released by my doctor to work & play sports again I’m now 20 & don’t have a problem or pain just can’t fully flex my arm how would I go with that I can do push up etc

If I was prescribed medication can they see that? If so can my psychiatrist say I'm fit for duty if I get off the anxiety meds. I really don't need em

im going to meps next week. i have metacarpel boss in both my wrist. its just a small pain but i feel like i could push thru it. could this affect me ?

I’ve had asthma in the past when I was 15 so like 7 years ago, but haven’t used an inhaler or anything, and I can’t find those medical documents should I be okay ?
