What is the problem with this Dyson v10 animal. not working issue.

If yours does this in turbo mode but not in regular mode then it might be a dirty filter. Mine did this when the filter airway was blocked.

I ahd this issue. If you un hook the vacuum part and put on a regular nozzle it'll start to work. The problem is the vacuum head motor. I had to the head apart and clean it up some and turn the motor by hand. Cleared it up. Back to working

Clogged. Mine had fuzz from a toy. Cleaned it out and ran fine.

Mine had a clean filter but a big stash of dog hair hidden where you open it. Stick your finger in the little hole and clean it out.

The problem is, it is absolutely useless.
1. The filter gets blocked on a regular basis, having to be cleaned and rinsed out.
Then having to wait a full day to carry on.

2. The suction tube inside the clear rubbish container gets completely blocked very quickly if you have any animals.
This makes it quite hard to remove any hair or fur that gets stuck.
I use a pair of joined chopsticks to get into the small hole and tweezer the contents out.

3. The trigger can break.
I repaired this by looking on tube, and added a stronger piece of plastic to re-enforce the sides of the trigger.

The cleaner need full disassembly and cleaning with air compressor inside, you wont believe how much fine dust is accumulated there.

clean the filter. wash filter(filter only, don't wash other part). use a blower to blow other part. and try again.

I had the same problem. It was happening because the filter was wet. If you recently washed the filter and it is still wet, you need to let it dry for at least 24 hours.

Mine had the same problem and shortly, I can hear the motor attempt to turn but it just shut off. Haven't found any solution other replacing the body.

Mine i had the seem problem but it doesn’t work in medium level and low level. In max level its work … any one knows why?

Looks like the trigger is broken, I swapped ours out and it sorted it
