Advantages of the house built with 3D panels:
- The panels are fire, earthquake, insect, termite, rodent, mold, and mildew resistant.
- The walls have low sound transmission, and endure wind speeds up to 186 mph.
- The insulation core is free from chlorofluorocarbons which destroy the ozone layer.
- HVAC system size is reduced, saving 50 to 80 percent on heating and cooling costs.
- By using the panels, construction time is cut in half, resulting in saved labor costs.

The 3D Wire Panel houses are very strong which can survive hurricanes and earthquakes, but they are quite easy to build:
The 3-D wall panels are made of two layers of welded steel mesh separated by galvanized wires connected diagonally with a two and one-half inch sheet of modified expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation sandwiched in between the two layers. With a concrete slab foundation as a base, the panels are set on it and wired together, and one and one half inch thick shotcrete is coated on the inside and outside of the walls.
Electricians run electric cables between the inner wire mesh layer and the EPS insulation before concrete is applied. Hurricane straps are used at critical junctions between walls and roof trusses, crimped under the horizontal wall panel wires and nailed to the trusses. When the concrete is sprayed on, the straps are cast into the walls.
