I'm a left-handed person. I rarely find any left-handed guitar and some of them are very costly. So I started playing right-handed guitar and surprisingly I didn't found any problem with play it. I think if you really wanna do something, you can do it even it is difficult for you.

I am left handed but when i started noone told me that there are left guitar also. So i learnt as right handed. I was able to learn bar chords very easily but struggled a lot in picking. I took a lot of time to get control over right hand. Its very tough for your non dominant hand to master the string picking part. Finger style is immpossible. Although now i am ok with lead and can easily do covers but if i can go back in time i would start with left guitar.

I have been playing for 2 years without trainer..😄 My motive behind playing guitar ...is to learn to arrange fingerstyle and recently I have arranged 3 songs...but.. I need to learn more... I don't have full fretboard liberty yet...

For bar chords heres a trick.
1 : Hoping you are right handed like me. Hold the body of guitar close to you with help of your elbow nicely.
From your left hand hold any chord (Let's say F Bar chord) and pull it toward yourself making bar chord position stable.
Now if you are beginner, you might feel pain on tip of your finger but hang in there it will get better. What it does is, now you have better grip on freatboard and use thumb for support. Strum adjust finger if not sounding good.(Fun fact when you get better at this you might need your thumb support and then you can try different styles.). Now Try transition to different bar chord but maintaining same posture.If You got that right, during transition base string sound magical and then you can try artificial harmoics, slap, tapping etc as a filler. Try its not that difficult.


2: you can avoid playing bar chords by playing alternative chords.Search on Youtube you will find them.
