-------

Today we're using a technique previously demonstrated in a Quick Tips video where we showed how to easily update Blender textures in near-realtime using Photoshop. Using said technique, Omercan will be creating a stylised handpainted texture for a Blender chest model. If you use this technique yourself, feel free to tag us on Twitter or Instagram using the @polycosm_yt tag!

WANT TO LEARN HOW TO BECOME A MASTER SCULPTOR IN BLENDER?

In order to learn how to sculpt in Blender, I took a CG Boost course called "Mastering Sculpting in Blender". Zach Reinhardt covers literally EVERYTHING you need to know about sculpting in Blender, and a bit more. If you're interested in levelling up your sculpting skills quickly, I couldn't recommend a better course than this.

POLYCOSM aims to bring you high quality tutorials looking into concept creation from a 2D -AND- 3D perspective. The channel is run by Freelance artists Christina Myrvold and Omercan Cirit who both work in the entertainment industry on a full-time basis.

We want to share tips and tricks, show you how to come up with creative ideas, use reference efficiently and showcase different 2D and 3D workflows. (And especially a combination of both!)

If you’re interested in purchasing any of the 3D models made in our videos, or want to download some freebies, make sure to visit our online store:
