Wood Turned Bowls – 2 Blanks 1 Bowl Video – Part Two Fitting, Carving, and Assembly
In this two-part series, I will make a carved exterior and a solid interior bowl that come together as one piece. Or at least that's the plan. I have this idea and I just have to see if it will work. Turning wood bowls is all about problem-solving and this is one heck of a woodturning puzzle to solve. Along the way, you will see how I turn wood bowls and I will share with you my thought process as I create this unique final wood turned bowl.

It's 11:43 p.m. and I'm watching your video. I woke up and realize I went to bed without checking my door an alarm. I picked up the phone to see if there may have been any important phone calls that I missed while sleeping when I came across. Your it's one of those topics that pop up in a heading..my curiosity got me to watch it. I said wow this is interesting. That's nice. I like the look. I made something similar a few years ago when I blatantly copied Kevin Turgeon's ( Krtwood ) piece that he called Forest through the Bowl. It's a big challenge but a lot of fun doing different things like this and that. I'll probably steal this idea too. Especially since I'm in Ontario and we're in the middle of a series of lockdowns where even the golf courses are closed so I can't pursue my preferred summer activity.
I found your channel a couple of months ago and have watched a lot of your posts and find them very helpful. Especially since I am, like many of us I think, self taught with a heavy youtube assist.Thanks for all you're doing.
