TERA Console Edition Review - The Final Verdict

TERA may look past its prime on consoles, and maybe it is, but it's still a fun and relatively accessible Action-MMO Role-playing game that fits perfectly in the console space.

I have 5000 hours of TERA on the PC, by the gameplay I watched on this video u clearly didn't get close to do endgame stuff... that's if u even reached lvl 65. How can you give a "Final Veredict" to a game you only played for a couple of hours?

I played it up to lvl 10 the other day, and enjoyed what I saw. It doesn't stand out enough from the crowd to draw me away from Final Fantasy XIV, but it's a nice MMORPG if you're looking for something new.

As someone who started out back when the game was Pay to Play, ALOT has changed since it went free to play. The game was so much more simple back then, now everything is complex and has shifted more to cosmetics and pay to win (as most korean free to play games normally go). Late game is nothing but a grind, and most will probably give up before they even hit max level.

I can't decide if i like this game or not. I hate the mini map. It's so damn confusing to figure out where your quest objectives are. So far it seems like an okay game, but it seems more like a cheap imitation of WOW, but is much easier to follow. This game also lagged like crazy for me, and it isn't my internet.

Wish you had atleast gone up to the Item Level 410+ dungeons.. all the dungeons you do before aren't difficult at all because there's no mechanics at all fort them. Plus all your gameplay was ONLY the tutorial area, so I'm not seeing how this could at all be a viable review of you haven't reached near end game yourself.

It’s super casual mmo, got it two days ago and I am already lv40, during this time I died only once in dungeon when both tank and healer dc-ed, to my surprise I found out you can rez right on spot we finished a boss and 30 mobs with no tank and healer. Questing requires some getting used to

3 years you say? This game is more than 7 years old (cirka 2010-2011).

I was in the Tera closed beta, open beta, and early access on Xbox not played it since the official release, but I hope they fixed the horrible lag in the main city....despite even with only a few players.

Played it now until level 33.
2 biggest negatives would be how it has a laggy feel at times. (Switching areas loads for pretty long and traveling the Pegasus looks very laggy)
Also, traveling trough the menus is a drag. Using the menu, looking at the map and going trough a lot of different items is SOOO painful and the "L1-2, R1-2" buttons used for traveling between inventory, crafting, skills, etc. took a lot of getting used to.

Otherwise it honestly has been alright.
