Ukraine separatists push ahead with referendum

Despite warnings from the West and a plea for postponement from Moscow,... Pro-Russian separatists in the east of Ukraine are holding referendums this Sunday,... asking voters whether they support a declaration of independence from Ukraine.

Local residents in two of the most tense regions in eastern Ukraine lined up to vote on Sunday.
The referendums in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, pushed by pro-Russian separatists, asks a simple 'yes' or 'no' question about whether they support the act of independence.
