Matt and the players didn't realize this, and I don't blame them because it's so unusual for a spell in 5e, but there _isn't_ an initial save for _Irresistible Dance._ Hence, "Irresistible". The target just starts dancing.

Man, if I hard a nickel for every time a bard on Critical Role used magic to force an incredibly powerful outerworld entity to riverdance, I'd have two nickels! Which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice!

My favorite part of all of Dance automatically happens for a turn because it's Irresistible. But Robbie plays such a great bard.

Ever since Robbie came in to the CR group he just elevates everyone. And seeing everyone get giddy for him it just wonderful as well :)

That save roll isn't rolled until the targets turn in the initiative. They dance until their turn. Not even a Legendary Save can get around that!

this right here is exactly why not only Dorian is an amazing addition to Bells Hells but also Robbie himself is an even better addition to the whole group <3 the guy's freaking amazing and i'd love to see him become a full time member start to finish in another campaign, if there ever's gonna be one
