Could you do a video on which red light therapy device is the best?

What I love about Dr Youn is that he encourages and explains other options before considering plastic surgery!

I must say you are a very enlightened medical professional. You exude honesty, knowledge, common sense and you suggest great recommendations. Your skin is really nice as well so it shows you are probably using your own brand. I enjoy the calm demeanour you portray and just how much you care about people. Keep up the good work. Thanks.

Dr. Youn, I think I saw you perform an Upper Blepharoplasty on The Doctors. The patient had trouble seeing because of his upper eyelids and after you did the operation, it made all the difference in the world and his vision was no longer impaired. Those kind of procedures is why I find plastic surgery really fascinating.

I've struggled with wrinkles and uneven skin tone for years. My dermatologist recommended trying red light therapy, so I decided to give it a shot with a panel from Future Form Official. To my surprise, it's been incredibly effective. The panel was affordably priced, which was a relief. After incorporating it into my skincare routine, I've noticed my skin looks much smoother and the fine lines have softened significantly. There’s a lot of scientific research supporting red light therapy, and I’m really grateful for the information shared here. Thanks, Dr. Youn, for highlighting these alternatives!

I do microneedling (at home & thru my Esthetician), red/nir light (I have a large panel at home), I use Retin A 6 days a week & I USE SUNSCREEN EVERYDAY WHETHER I’M INSIDE OR OUT😂! Those have made a HUUGE DIFFERENCE. I’m 54 & I get more compliments on my skin now than I did 5 years ago😂

I had to do a medically necessary upper blepharoplasty due to how much excess skin i had on the area. I honestly had so much that I was shocked by the end result.

I’ve had to use tretinoin since being a teenager and I’m close to 30 now, but haven’t really aged all that much. I’ve had acne issues this entire time, but I look much younger than people my age. My face is super smooth and cleared up now.

Extremely dry skin here, always have had this type of skin, since I was a wee child. Age 3 our family internist told mom to use Nivea's blue tin on my skin on top of some sweet almond oil, which you could get by the 100ml from the pharmacy. Still using the blue tin today, age (almost) 52 and it now serves as my "final layer"; I have to keep using it, it is that good! I have replaced the sweet almond oil with a couple other items, a retinol (once a week), a hyaluronic acid serum on the daily, and off and on Neutrogena's retinol booster cream and a couple other plain hyaluronic acid moisturizers + the vit. C serum in silicone (The Ordinary; sadly discontinued; top notch and baby butt smooth). I have to layer, other people think I'm crazy to do so, but if I don't, my skin is just kaput. But all of this works *extremely* well for me! Profile picture was taken just last year. Don't think I'm doing too badly. ;)

I did minimal dysport injections every 4-6 months for about 2-3 years. After a couple of years I noticed my forehead started to lose muscle tone and look old and misshapen. Now I realize why people who get Botox eventually still look old just with smooth skin. Which tbh looks more creepy than just looking old. Now I stick to laser, Microneedling, face massage, tretinoin, diet, and lots of laughter. I also find that sleep and hydration have a huge impact on how youthful I look.

I wondered if tretinoin would be on the list. I started using it 3 years ago and, my god, the results are amazing, I can never go back. I started using it because of very oily very acne prone skin (even in my late 20s), and it did solve that problem, but it also improved so much my skin overall in ways I wasn't even thinking about because I was so focused on the acne (and because my skin was very oily, the adaptation period was actually pretty ok). I hardly ever apply foundation anymore, I don't feel like I need it, whereas before I wouldn't go anywhere without foundation cause I was so self conscious about my skin. I can't be bothered with a overly complicated skin care routine, and for that tretinoin is amazing because it's one product you apply before bed and it does the most. Highly recommend anyone to discuss using it with their dermatologist.

Hello! Thank you for your wonderful content. Question, do you think red light therapy will aggravate melasma?

Thank you Dr Youn for your honest opinions ❤I’m so glad I stumbled upon your videos, I will share one that isn’t on your list for me anyways I go to my dermatologist and get my spots sprayed off with this can of I think its liquid nitrogen and it’s a godsend ! I get sprayed down every year for dark spots and lighter ones that I don’t like, they don’t even charge me except one time I did a bunch and it was like $150.. it stings, scabs and falls off I love it!
