All the major human rights organizations—HRW, Amnesty, B'Tselem, and the ICC—have called Israel an apartheid state. Back in 1920, only about 5% of the population in what we now call Israel/Palestine was Jewish, according to the Jewish Virtual Library. Today, it's over 70%, thanks to ongoing settler colonialism, which our tax dollars support. We talk a lot about immigration, but we're also contributing to the displacement of Palestinians and helping Europeans settle in their place. It's time to drop the double standards and speak up against the powerful. That’s the only way we'll start seeing real change in our own countries too.

Just to clarify (from a Protestant Evangelical), the Bible does NOT say that jews need to control Israel in order for Christ to return. That belief is based on a popular Bible commentary from the 1900s called the Schofield Bible in which a guy named Schofield gave his interpretation of the book of Revelation. God is sovereign and doesn't need us to do anything. He will return when he decides to.
