/me face palms. I was hitting a bug with firing a cannon. Seeing that the cannon moves, tilts and rotates, my projectiles would fire in weird directions. Your line of script that suggests using the parent objects forward transform was the answer. So simple of an answer it made me feel dumb for not seeing it :'(. Yet brilliant enough to get me to subscribe :). Thank you.

One learner turned out to be a Jedi who just couldn't grasp how to apply the Force. Oh well, you can't train everyone.

So do you know that when u go to the trigger, the wall is transparent right?So it means u can shoot through it

ok, so the local transform rotates about the y axis, but not the x or z?  so .forward always returns a vector parallel to the xy plane?
