Bambu locking down the use of Orcaslicer is the first nail in the coffin for them.

They can also add layer spaghetti detection and blob detection if it can detrct pressure advance and flow calibration test. Hopefully they can add these feature as an add on to older printers

How many parts do I have to replace for it to work? Just remembering how every single Creality ender 3 extruder made in plastic cracks after a few uses.

I think rhr K2 will be at its limited pre order price of $700 again once the new H2D drops ir at least by one year later.
Bambu is going to drop a similar size printer with a dual extruder tool head, maybe be even two of them.
We will see what price point is going to be but I predict that it is better to wait this out till after Creality releases their copy or answer to the new Bambu H2D
Maybe if Bambu doesn't give is 4 independent nozzles then Creality will ( via 2 dual extruder tool heads and tool changer mechanism to swAp them out.

I had my mind made up on buying an X1C, but after reading up on the K2 plus combo I'm not so sure now...are there any downfalls or issues with the K2 plus so far? I'm really leaning towards the K2 for the 350 squared build volume and since I've been using creality printers for years I've grown accustomed to the brand

I keep getting errors with my K2. So frustrating! Error CM2789 and FR2836 with nothing blocking the hub.

I have seen so many terrible reviews bout creality customer support and receiving defective units which give tons of system errors. What was your experience

It’s not their customer support, I have emails 5 or 6 times about the fact mine didn’t have the top hinge attached to the glass door when I got it. I also have only printed a benchy. The 4 color benchy caused a retraction error

If I’m being honest creality is great for getting into 3d printing. But over the years I have found that working with the Chinese side, it’s very hard to do things that involve upgrades like my ender 3 was a pain to update as all the website were Chinese. But if you buy a printer with everything attached and it’s just turn it on and go. Then I suppose you’d be fine.

Looking at all these machines… I gust the feeling that K2 does not meet my standards… still they are below X1, the only thing that makes me think of creality is the build volume…

I either wait on bambu to come with something bigger or the size of K2 or I save a bit more and go Prusa XL

Hey Bratux....They finally caught up and went past a bit, don't forget the auto belt tension system with motors on the back and their custom 9mm belts. Either way Bambu has a huge thing coming out soon that creality will have to play catch up again, but hey that machines is just dope.
