Thanks Rosie for the positive mindset you bring to the topic. I have a question for you: in the last 1.5 year after the company I worked at downsized and hence got rid of the entire sales department, after following a course in start-up investment, I acquired, renovated and let a few properties, constructing a base for doing more of this in the future. I did not set up a company or anything so, even though I think I learnt a lot about real estate I don’t know how to showcase that on LinkedIn and on my CV… “real estate investment”? But LinkedIn forces you to pick a company for that period right?

One question can we explain a gap of 3 years by mentioning the family issues of helping parents etc or should we stick to explaining it very professionally like you have mentioned it here ? Which factors can against us in interview if we haven't addressed the issues properly regarding our gap..

Hi, I have gap for about 4 years now because I was a care giver for a family member off the books and I can't seam to find a job because of that. Is there a certain way to state that on my resume. Because I know it was tax free or free lance however you decide to see it and I am not sure if any company is going to give me a break because of that reason. Please help.

I've yet to see a video that actually shows how to list it on a resume. I see lots of videos explaining what to say, but showing it on a resume it much harder. I guess I'll need to keep on searching other youtube channels.
