I was diagnosed with Aortic Valvular Stenosis at 10 (severe murmur) and was told i would have heart failure by 15 without treatment. I had surgery at age 11 with no complications, but my understanding was my aorta heart valve was simply reconstructed. I have competed in strength sports for 20 years now at 55.
