Got diagnosed in my late teens was told if felt dizzy to sit down and also drink water was told to solve problem i needed to get surgery to live longer then i got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes im just enjoying life at this point life is short

Im only 19 (not overweight and i am active) and i got my echocardiogram because my heart would beat super fast randomly and i would feel dizzy . They said i have a mild aortic insufficiency and that it most likely wont progress but to keep track of any more symptoms. Also to go back in 2-3 years for another echo. Hope im all right because im young and this is my first serious health problem.

i’m 13 and heart diseases run in the family. i have been incredibly tired no matter on how much sleep i get. and doing simple things like getting up or going up some stairs makes me lose breath and my heart pumps rapidly. (no i am not overweight and/or have high blood pressure) i don’t want to be jumping to conclusions, i would really like to go to a doctor.... but my whole family says it nothing. advise?

I have mild aortic valve insufficiency and mitral valve prolapse and I I had nothing until 4 weeks ago. I feel palpitations, fatigue and shortness of breath. I'm going to take the exams to my doctor next week and I'm just hoping for some medication at most, I'm super nervous, I don't even want to think about other things.

I’m fifteen and recently got diagnosed with Mitral Valve regurgitation and don’t really know much about it. the doc said it’s minor but it still sorta confused. like is this something that’s gonna get worse? what are my physical limits? what’s this gonna look like long term?

I have this mildly and have to have another ECG done in 3 years time I have no symptoms just by chance I had a scan as my brother had a heart problem so all the family had to be checked out

Thanks, u . Breathing fresh air, l also humble my heart .l pray daily. I feel much better. Take blood thinner meds.eat a lot of potassium food, due 2 take water pills meds.

When my grandma died her body was convulsing, filled with fluid and she was spewing it up like an endless stream, the liquid color went from black to blood red to yellow to clear, what is this called? The convulsing while spewing liquid?

Im always told that my heart is normal, but the thing is, whenever i get episodes of not breathing well, too much pressure, fatigued, etc. It does show up on the monitor whenever i feel something but afterwards, its all negative (normal). I was told, well my parents were told that i inherited a heart murmur and had a "leaking valve". Its not lethal at all, but i cant be treated due to my heart developing (the tissues can be damaged easily) and how surgeries are very risky and expensive so no. Im just told i cant do anything except grow out of it and as i grow, my episodes occur more and more rare. But another thing is, becoming stress and have my anxiety triggered makes it more frequent and painful so yeah...not a good experience.

But hey, at least i dont have a hole in my heart just like my dad side of the family has

I’m glad I’m not alone.. I was diagnosed when I was 26 I’m 33 now.. I still get them from time to time mainly when I’m relaxing ….

I’ve had the same echocardiogram since 2014 no changes in my heart Rhythm… however it is annoying to experience it

Easiest job in the world to be a cardiologist. They offer nothing that's helpful other than sharing what the report says. They know more but really are less than forthcoming about explaining things to you.

You can Reverse this by simply taking 2 things daily, Krill oil and garlic tabs.
