The commitment to Mahler's music that these musicians have is life-giving. Unbounded joy! Thanks for posting, Berliner Philharmoniker.

I like to feel the emotional purity of the music classical. In each instrument is joined the ideal of the musical beauty and the spirit of creativity in the present instant. It's a beautiful harmony when the doing and the saying go it together. Music gives meaning to sound, from meaning to sound, is born emotion. Extract Symphony No. 7 Movement I. Langsam - Allegro risoluto in E minor. My gratitude to Gustav Mahler and Kirill Petrenko with the Berliner Philharmoniker. *Lucien*

maybe we should stop saying ‘break a leg’ to wish luck to a performer…

Nice venue. I would sit behind the orchestra every time to hear the horns better 😎

Gab schon deutlich bessere Aufnahmen, klingt oft gelangweilt und ohne genug Power. Wird das Schlagwerk absichtlich heruntergeregelt? Die Beckenschläge klingen nach nichts, selbst im fortissimo.
