One of my new favorite Thrawn scenes from the show thus far. Having him finally knock her down a peg was very, very satisfying, especially after her making him take the blame for all those civilian causalities on Batonn in the novel. I was disappointed that I couldn't find this scene, so I decided i'd upload it myself. Your move, Lucasfilm.

That 1080p uploading time tho. *barfs*

Excuse Thrawn, he's usually more composed. It's just that he's a little bit *ABSOLUTELY LIVID.*

A lot of people may not realize how much pressure thrawn was under in this scene, his loyalty was being called into question by the emperor, and the group that had already escaped him once due to the incompetence of others had done so again and for the same reason. At this point I’m surprised he’s even staying as calm as he was.

"I will deal with you when I return, governor" Wow, he sounded very intimidating there

My man Rukh getting ready for the kill, if Thrawn had ordered it she'd be done

I've never felt this weird mix of satisfaction and terror

Pryce is ultimately the reason the Stardust project was chosen instead of Thrawn's plan bcuz she messed it up. Therefore in a wayn she helped the rebels win the war against the Empire...look at the Force.

Anyway, Thrawn's TIE-Defender project was already on the chopping block, as Krennic was pleading with Palpatine to divert ALL funding to his own Death Star project. However, Tarkin was able to arrange a one-on-one meeting between Thrawn and Palpatine, in order for Thrawn to prove why his project was more valuable to the Empire than Krennic's -- and evidently this meeting went quite well for Thrawn.

...Then, literally right after Thrawn went to bat for his project's superiority in front of the Emperor himself, Pryce goes and compromises the entire project by destroying all the fuel stores on Lothal(which subsequently made Thrawn look like a fool in the eyes of the Emperor.)

So yeah, Thrawn's frothing angry right now(and for good reason.) I hope he strips Pryce of all formal rank and sends her to work in the mines of Lothal with the other slaves and such -- for her that would be a fate worse than death. thumb up

I love it when Trawn was pissed yet still calm in the situation.

Damn talk a great villian.
Wish we have more of these

Pryce is in trouble now. Thrawn doesn't get angry easily. He was really scary in this scene. I wonder if he has been able to gather evidence against her after Batonn.

I love the subtle difference in his calm demeanor. Even though he's talking at the same calm, calculating tone, there's a hint of chilling venom in his voice that makes him extremely threatening and you can tell that he is completely furious with Pryce

Damn, Thrawn is pissed as f***. His pet project was disrupted due to Guv'na Pryce's ambition. She better flee quickly and far away, lest she becomes the next Batonn

0:21 Even though Thrawn recognises Jedi as a huge tactical threat and would order them killed as soon as encountered, he has huge admiration and respect in their powers and abilities. While the death of Kanan is somewhat of a success to him, at the same time he also thinks its unfortunate.

After reading the latest Thrawn book, I'm of the mind that I'd happily take a blaster shot for the Grand Admiral.

Really, he's not a villain at all in the traditional sense. He's more like a protagonist on the wrong side of a war where its history is written by the victors. The Rebels ARE terrorists, albeit with a noble cause, while Thrawn is just doing his job with spectacular efficiency and decorum. He's not particularly cold-hearted either, given his past dealings, which is why I feel an ideal Empire would never have been toppled with more people like him. Not only would it be more respectful to all its citizens serving under it but I dare say it would have done a far better job than its predecessor, the Republic.

As for Pryce, I do hope she gets what she deserves. She's everything wrong with the Empire, even though I initially held some respect for her before her exploits at Batonn. She's the reason why good men like Kallus abandon it.

You know what makes Star Wars great? Continuity. Watching this scene after reading the new Thrawn novel really gives you the full insight into these two characters. I feel like I know them both personally and can totally understand the motivation of each other’s action. I know I sound nerdy, but hey, it’s Star Wars

Pryce, your victory was basically killing off a roach, but destroying Thrawn’s house in doing so

“Did you really believe that holding a parade would hide the fact that you destroyed our entire fuel supply?”

First & only reality about Thrawn: he is a masterful tactician.

Damn, that feels good. After the battle of Batonn, she pinned the massive civillian casualties on Thrawn and positively blackmailed him into a) not accusing her of mass murder which she commited b) accepting the rank of Grand admiral which he didn't really want. I hate that woman. And now he's just about done with her bulls*it.

About time someone told her what's what. If you read the THRAWN book that came out recently, Arinda Price likes to play him like a fiddle. The events of Rebels takes place just after that book and it looks like Thrawn is learning the full power of his position.

Thrawn is angry now, I wonder how much worse it will be for Pryce when he finds the Kalikori is gone! That woman is dead....
