Also, none of these facts have been proven, but they are definitely facts.

German "Gift" actually means "poisen" in English.

Germans don't laugh, they just say "Ha! That's funny" while making eye contact

In my English teacher’s classroom (he is German) he has a poster that says, “Tell someone you love them and life will be okay, but yell it in German because life is terrifying and confusing”

"These are depressing"
"But so is Life, Life is death und suffering"
Fact: We germans love facts about life even if they are horrible or as he puts it Fakten, fakten, fakten.

"Hier ist ein Gift"
Thank God he didn't drink it 😂

If it's not depressing, it's not German!

Showed this to my dad who's been to Germany. He just said "Those are Germans for you" and walked away.

Things I’ve learned about Germans. Dark sense of humor, depressed, believe in owning their countries problematic past as to not repeat it, don’t socialize with people at work, love sparkling water. Conclusion: I think I’m German

He’s getting payback for the Jar Jar binks snapple caps

Also, love how you used the lighting to portray a depressing atmosphere, combined with the lighthearted music which creates a fantastic use of juxtaposition. Though the music is upbeat and happy, the lighting and dialogue contrasts well as a funny short.

Sorry, I’m meant to be practicing for my English exam, so I’m practicing analysing shorts on YouTube.

I love all the videos show the difference in temperament and culture between Germans and Americans. My grandmother was German and my mother was raised around her German great aunts so my household had a slightly different perspective that I didn't understand until I got older. And yes it was weird being the only black girl in class who would say "gesundheit" when people sneezed and "Got im himmel" when I was upset. Thx mom lol
