When I plug it, it just pulses yellow one time and never pulses again

if your controller was new and was discharged for a long time. make sure you use a USB cable provided by Sony or some sturdy branded USB cable that is capable of supplying proper charge to the controller. I had the same issue and was trying to use other USB cables I had lying around which did not work till I used the actual cable.

For me, the ps4 (original) controller has a rather strange case. When the cable is connected to an external charger or to the USB port on the ps4, it works properly, but when I disconnect the cable, it immediately shuts off controller. I tried everything, changed the battery, reset the controller, kept it on the charger for 12 hours. Quite unusual, do you know maybe what this is about?

There are newer dual shock 4 controllers and older ones the newer ones are basically designed poorly which is why they have charging and connecting issues and these are the ones there selling in stores now If you get an older model you may not have these issues

Both my fuckn controller won’t charge and bought a new one and still won’t fuckn charge bought 5 different cables and tryed wall out let’s my pc and my ps4 ports. So FUCKN OVER PS4

The thing with mine is that it connects.but It will stay on if its plugged in but will immediately die when not plugged in.

I always buy the silver gray controllers and the battery always die within 14 months....doesn't even last me two years. Sticking to original black.
