I'm a bit astonished. I've already seen Dima at a tournament, I don't remember which one but certainly on Youtube, where he was the fastest among several pros with a result of 124 or 125 kmph !

I think this tool would be interesting to use when testing different equipment to see how much faster different blade configurations are compared to others.

Couple suggestions: In general, people will clock faster shots when the ball is fed closer to the net. You should put a piece of tape 6 inches (or some other distance) from the end of the table to make sure the the ball distance is consistent. Also it would be interesting to try and clock the speed of different types of shots like looping against bottom spin or backhand instead of just smashes.

coming from a boxing background. I always wondered why table tennis and tennis players didnt train like boxers. you train for balance, movement, rotational speed, accuracy, endurance. everything youd need to be a great player
