I understand that people have different tastes and styles but come on... it's not hard to be respectful to the bride. Being married is not about looking good on your wedding day. Your wedding day has nothing to do with your marriage! I'm happily married and I can tell you that I hand made mine and it was just ok. I didn't care because I found the love of my life. Priorities lady!

When I told my mom what my vision was for a dress she agreed and took my ass to SEVEN shops to find the right one. She was on board and wanted me to have the bling and very long train that I wanted. She never truly had her eye on a different style for me even if I tried different types on. That’s what a supportive mama should be 👍🏼

The first bride, that first dress was stunning on her. She was glowing in it. How a mother could not see the joy in her daughters face, I will never know. I feel she just had the dress her mother liked and she thought was okay. Mothers, it's your daughters day, it's her dress, not yours, it not about you. Whenever you like the dress or not, you are there to give love and support. I don't care what dress my precious daughter will choose, only that she loves it and feels it's the one for her. ❤

To be honest if I disagreed with either of my daughters Wedding dress choices I'd have been told to get over it and rightly so in my opinion. I stopped picking their clothes for then at 15 - 16. Their wedding their choice.

When my daughter was picking her wedding dress out. I never never criticize her. What ever she liked I approve of her. She loved the 2nd dress she tried on. I loved it immediately. It fit her so perfectly as if it was made for her. Ive never behave like this mother and so many other mothers behave. Mothers says they're not going to be happy. Nonsense. The mother is not the one wearing the wedding dress. Mother is saying to her daughter. I don't like it. I don't like it. So mean. If you love your daughter don't ruin. Her day. Whether whose paying for the dress.
