Gives a detailed explanation for what activity is with respect to radioactivity. Activity is defined as the number of decays per second. It is abbreviated with the symbol A and has the metric unit the Becquerel (Bq). One Becquerel is equal to one decay per second.

Thank you so much for all this great videos. I'm watching them as I try to learn chemistry. They were very helpful since you use all kinds of animations and graphs. I wish that you record your lectures at class from the first day and post them here for every grade. I came across some of the videos that partly show your experiments in class like ones in the combustion rections and it was very educational and fun to watch.
