LG's 2022 OLED TV lineup is officially announced, with the C2 and G2 seeing some significant upgrades over prior year. The LG Gallery Series OLED G2 now comes in a massive 97-inch option and is even brighter than the G1, while OLED EVO tech makes its way down to the C2 series, which now includes a new 42-inch option. There are changes to the Gallery Series design as well. We take a close look and offer some unique insights at both new OLED series in this exclusive look from LG"s U.S. headquarters in New Jersey, ahead of CES 2022.

There will be a new model every year with minor upgrades. This year it’s more brightness from last years models (G1/C1). To the average customer it won’t even make a difference. I bought a 65 inch C1 in December and I love it!

Anybody looking to buy a tv now, go for it.. you won’t regret it, and it’s not a difference you will truly notice between this years new models. :)

I have a C1 and it can be blindingly bright at night in a dark room. I don't see the need for anything brighter but I guess if you're installing in a sun room this is good news for you.

Caleb this is remarkable I guess things happen for a reason.. when I went to buy my oled tv that same day my fridge went so there was $2100 spent on a new LG fridge... then the 2nd time I walked into best buy to buy the 77" oled my main water line busted and that was a $4, 200 fix... then last month my waterheater went so I gave up trying to get an oled tv.. I figured everytime I go to buy one BAM... something happens well this is why because if the reviews are good I'm getting this G2 83" go big!! All I've wanted since oled hit the ground running was an oled and I believe this is my year!!! Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

I'm excited mostly for the 42" OLED, my place is tiny, so a 55" TV would be the maximum size I could get away with. Hopefully it'll be affordable by the next Black Friday and I can finally retire my ancient 37" HDTV.

TV's look really good. But that silver bezel, which from the final few shots of the video, looks quite visible from the front. Doesn't seem appropriate for an OLED and somewhat distracting to the image being displayed. A graphite or an Apple space grey, I would say is much more fitting shade.

Nice improvements but no regrets purchasing a 65 inch C1 during Black Friday. I am interested in the 42 inch as a PC monitor but I wish they would land on 32 inch.

That high end 42" is a perfect size for so many places like kids room, kitchen, garage, apartment, or just someone who doesn't care for a large screen but can appreciate high output quality, it will sell so fast
