I think nozzle shape can help with the web structure, maybe try making it like a V shaped intersecting jet

You need a more laminar flow from the nozzle if you want to get better distance. It could either be a nozzle issue or an issue with the pressure being too high. I’d lower the pressure just to test first. Also, it’s awesome to see someone accomplish the dream I’ve been meaning to for years, I just didn’t get off my butt to do it, you did and it looks like it’s working great, thank you and keep it up!!!

Imagine something like uhmwpe but in a canister under pressure so it’s a liquid. When you want to activate the “web” it vaporizes the liquid and projects it out where the air instantly cools it into a fiber, similarly to how nylon and other synthetic fabrics are made. Not to mention if any polymer is going to be able to hold your weight, it’s gonna be uhmwpe.

You made my dreams come true since i was a kid! I had tried multiple purpolsion methods but couldnt really get anything compact or portable. The 2 best things i found as i got older was compressed air and hot glue or 1/3 dish soap to 2/3 elmers glue to make a web fluid that you could use with your fingers and also disentigrates with ater for easy clean up. You can add a strong thread with a little weight at the end to be covered in the web fluid which will allow it to stay whole

Been waiting on this one.😎 I really wish these 6v solenoid valves were ideal for stronger propellants and more viscus web-fluids. Would make for some awesome web shooter designs.

you need to perfectly make the fluid getting out at a perfect pressure, that means you need to make a some sort of tip where it comes out and not expand but form a string of that ( like lasers and lenses )

Try making a type of exit chamber to try to focus the web fluid into a string/ focused stream of web that’s more direct able

Maybe design the nozzle and pressure in such a way to create a laminar flow.
