When Spider-Man made his own webbing in his high school chemistry class, he was smart to try to mimic spider silk. After all, the real stuff is pound for pound, stronger than steel. He also seems to have improved upon it, using what looks to be carbon nanotubes to provide even more strength and flexibility, just like scientists are investigating in real labs today.

Now all we need is an awkward high schooler that got bitten by a radioactive spider to make a Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

Now talk about Tony Stark making a whole steel armor from a pile of scraps.

if he actually sell his silk thread at several degree of quality, he won't be that poor, he can even become the CEO of Spider-silk corp.

To be fair if peter had used fishing line instead of spider webbing as his inspiration then we would’ve called him Fisherman-man

Actually, he was able to figure it out cause the spider who bit him was actually a engineered radioactive spider that gave him a lot more knowledge about web structures just like an average arachnid.

Fact:

Spiderman’s webshooters are designed to prevent others using them. The palm switch requires 65 pounds of pressure to press and must also receive a lightning-quick double-tap from the users middle and third fingers. This system prevents non-superpowered individuals from firing his webs.
