Somebody in the Discord made a good point about me (accidentally) excluding the FO32U2 from the conclusion: At $1099, its a VERY attractive way to get into this format. If you've concluded that DP2.1 isn't a big deal to you, its an easy W versus the PG32UCDM at $200 cheaper.

You have covered the smaller screen modes in more detail that literally any other YouTuber, none of the others could answer my question but you did.
Now that I understand how it works, this monitor should work fine for me, but the Asus probably has better quality of life stuff to persuade me if I can find it for a decently close price.

Bro, you covered every question I've been researching answers to in less than ten minutes. Instant sub, that was awesome.

My only concern with DSC or "Display Stream Compression" is the potential for added input delay in the extra processing to compress the data. I would love to see if anyone has done any testing on this to see if there is a performance impact in any way.

Great review. I’ve seen many monitor reviews and yours are head and shoulders above them. You cover things which are important for daily users.

I don't want to watch monitor reviews by anyone else any more. This is the best review of this monitor I've seen, focuses on the meat and ignores all the sides, salad and subjective drivel that so many other reviewers spend way too much time on.

Since i swap Monitos ever 8 to 10 years, yeah. Having that faster bandwidth for later when I actually use the Monitor for higher refresh rates without DSC would be nice.

I have to say. Gigabytes Aorus line the last 2 years has been pretty impressive. Not just for montiors, but gpus and motherboards have been really good 👍

I love my AW3225QF from Alienware there all good I just stick with the brand that has never let me down and have had zero issues with AW, and when it’s time to upgrade I post it on marketplace and someone gets a good deal and is happy with a monitor that’s works like it did when I first bought it.

great review, very straight to the point! very minor spec, the type c on this monitor is 65w, not 90w.

I’m ex bass player…and I totally am a very “don’t have the finances” audiophile. For me solid state has so much head room, though when it’s full Valve…it’s different flavour of listening.

Hybrid amps are good, like the Genz Benz 900 amp (bass amp) though when you are plugged into a full valve amp…the bass has that warmth..and also clarity which shakes your soul, and vibrates your spine 😂👌🏻💪🏻♥️

Side note….bad seed tech is a legit channel, absolutely love these videos

Stay up 👌🏻💪🏻

Somehow you are the only youtuber who takes time to speak about aspect modes (idk why). This is kinda sad, these monitors use the same displays so only coating and features sereperate them from each other.
Also I totally aggre with you, 32" can be too big for many multiplayer games and having a feature to simulate a smaller monitor is a killer.

Thank you for work, keep it up man!

Tried the LG but the WOLED was not as good for me as the previous QDOLED in the Samsung G8 so I switched it for the Asus SWIFT. Best monitor I ever had. It's only 1.4DP but I do not see it will be a problem in the near 2-3 years.:) In my country the Asus and the Gigabyte is at the same price and I prefer Asus so that's why I get that. Nice review, go hard!

Display port 2.1 has its issues too. It's hard to find a cable that is certified for the full bandwidth and those that are have very short lengths. It's gonna take time for the cables to get longer and properly certified. It is the future but dsc isn't gonna hold you back either.

I do need it. Because I tell myself I need it (I don’t)

alt-tabbing makes a big difference. without DSC this is significantly faster, it's a good thing that everyone would notice for sure unless you don't switch between fullscreen games and desktop often. but other than that not really any benefits.

I need that 'Nah Im Good' shirt. Where can I get one?

Not a bad display. It's definately some great features. Just need a software/firmware update to fix some of those issues.
the 1000 nits peak brightness is great, but the tracking could be better for sure. It looked really dark even compared to my LG C1.
