My daughter passed away from drowing a couple years ago. I cannot express how valuable the life lesson he's teaching this boy.

True courage right there. He said "last one" meaning the little guy has done it a few time before. You can see the fear in his face when he was getting tired. But he voluntarily jumped in. Great job to both of them.

That frustration and struggle the child is feeling during the practice is so important. If dad wasn't there he'd be feeling far more stress but he's already learning he CAN handle it and he WILL handle it! Good job dad!!

Sometimes, the important things in life are the hardest to do. It's not easy to watch your kid getting scared, but these skills could save his life one day. You are an amazing father.

As a swim instructor, I can say this guy does a wonderful job of changing his tone of voice! You can see how the little guy trusts him and knows that he’s right there the whole time.

Swimming lessons are probably one of the hardest/scariest things for parents. It sucks to watch your child be scared and tired, but it also sucks seeing news articles about children drowning because they weren’t aware of the dangers that come with deep water.
A lot of parents rely to heavily on the safety jackets and floaties, and don’t show/teach/explain to their children that once they are off they won’t float. This is hard to watch, but so necessary. Good job dad!

Poor baby. He looks scared and exhausted but as someone who never learned to swim and almost drowned once, this is absolutely essential.

It is really sad to see this little baby cry and be sad but when he grows up he will thank his dad/teacher for this because this can be life saving, respect to the dad/teacher
