I didn't write either one of these songs. I didn't think to mash them up either. I first saw this mashup performed by Gregory Dean Smalley in the early 90's. I miss him a lot.

Puddles, I don't know if you'll ever read this but I want you to know your work has brought me great joy. Thank you for sharing your beautiful voice and unique expressions of music with the world. I live a very average life as a maintenance man at a psychiatric hospital, a husband, father, and minister. Sometimes daily life and also carrying the burdens of those I see at work and minister to is quite heavy. Your work offers me a much needed escape and always brings me happiness. Psychologically, I don't understand it (nor do I care to). I just believe you are a blessing.
