Wrist Pain 🤕

First things first: if any of these movements cause you more pain, do not do them.

Pain is multifactorial, from the movements you do, to the ones you don’t, all the way to your perception of pain and lifestyle factors. However, if there is something we can all agree on, it is that strengthening the area is not only one of the best ways to reduce pain, but most importantly, to prevent it from recurring.

Your wrists are controlled by the muscles in your forearms. These exercises focus on strengthening them. When most people think of wrist exercises, they think of placing the hands on the floor and leaning forward, backward, or doing knuckle raises, etc. While these are great exercises, they load the wrist in the same patterns we use for most calisthenics exercises.

This puts more pressure on an already overworked joint. Instead, the exercises shown here are meant to strengthen the forearms in patterns we don’t usually expose ourselves to during normal training. This can ensure better development and balance of the forearm structures and lead to more resilient wrists.

Finally, I would like to add that I recommend doing these exercises once or twice a week for 4-8 weeks just once or twice a year. It is not something you need to keep doing for life. Just a month or two of direct work every year can do wonders for the longevity of your wrists.

Timing couldn't be more impeccable, I am year break for multi reasons including ganglion cyst. Whats your advise to get around Ganglion Cyst pain?

Do something for pullup pain, when using shoulder with or less grip. I m specially having it while training for muscleup.

Hey gabo, a doubt(plzz answer) 🙋‍♂️, why am i not able to master L-sit?i trained for it (very good core compression, can do full pike strech, very flexible hamstring)why am i not able to progress on Lsit, i can fo 10 sec handstand without any wall, is it bcoz i dont give it too much concern, i mean i usually do L sit artempts at end of my workout adter doing a lot of arch push ups, handstands,plance lean and stuff, is it due to the strength?bcoz i do it at end of workouts?

Don't do rotations, they might hurt you since they put the wrist on a weak position
