3 Tips for Frugal & Zero Waste Gift Giving

This Christmas I'm trying my best to make all my gifts low-waste/zero waste and fit within my budget, so today I'm sharing a few tips how I make that happen while still giving thoughtful gifts to my loved ones.

My local library often sells their 'old' books for only 10c. And by old, I don't mean torn and tattered books with yellow pages but books that are not very popular or hardly read so they decide to get rid of them.

Great tips, love the idea of improving on personal skills too. I love repotting small chutes of plants or cuttings I’ve rooted for gifts.

Either earlier this year or last year, I fished out a PS1 out of our community dumpster and for at least six months, the favorite words of my eldest child were, "Dumpster playstation." :P

The controller did not work, but I am saving it for parts or to fix and I put the PS1 in storage for a later revival by either me or somebody else. It had dead bugs in it, so storage was a good option. It is still a good save because people clean these systems up, repair them, put them in new shells, mod them and play them.
