The reason it is so good is, the camera, the lighting, the makeup is modern. It's like now. It's not like 80s and earlier with long hair, oily face, reflection of the light on the face. The soundtrack is superb. The appropriate and just enough sounds of the truck hitting the wall, squealing of tires, flapping of the tire. The superb editing which shows the shopping cart coming towards the camera and immediately the camera turns to show the front of the truck which is coming behind, where the cart goes under the truck. No overdo or exazaration. Everything is just right. Brilliant work.

This changed cinema forever. I was 7 and parents let me watch it! Then I watched it a 1000ntimes. It’s still amazing. Nothing had been done like that before it’s real pivotal moment for movies.

This movie was almost 100 years ahead of it's time, even today's ultra extraordinary picture graphics will not have potential to make that kind of movie which was made in late nineties, simply incredible James Cameron & his company.

Fun fact. Nobody wanted to do the shot at 1:14 because they said it was to dangerous. So James Cameron grabbed the camera and did the shot himself. You gotta respect him for that.
