For me as a Child back then, this scene was the scariest in the whole movie - the bright lights, the thrilling music and that you could feel the hopelessness. Last but not least, the Terminator crashes into the wall at such a speed that you actually think it's done, but it's not and somehow he disappeares. This gave me chills in the 2000s.

A little-known fact: while preparing for the role of the Terminator, Arnold lived in Poland for half a year, thanks to which he mastered facial expressions devoid of any emotions. :D

1984's Los Angeles was ridiculously clean

0:36 It almost looks like determination on the Terminator's face. Shows the capability of emotion.

Michael Biehn wasn’t too keen on doing a film with Schwarzenegger at first but this film made him.

Wow. The Terminator disappeared with nobody noticing. Clever Cyborg.

2:02 It happens super quick, but here is the shot that led to The Terminator needing to give himself eye surgery later on in the film. Took me many watches over many years before I noticed it.

This movie is a free lesson to these movies nowadays. Do it right, be professional, make the dream become reality and the movie ends up perfect. Don't even need to pretend, there was a natural female character that developed very well without forcing the image

The terminators arm was not damaged from getting shot, rather from ramming the cement wall at high speed. T-800’s are rather vulnerable to blunt force trauma.

Spotted a blooper at 0:20 and 2:45. Give me a thumbs up if you know what it is.
