Anyone younger than 40 have no idea how special these special effects were. ..
I'm 80, saw the original "War Of The Worlds", "Earth vs. The Flying Saucers", "Angry Red Planet" and a bunch of other "state of the art" films on Saturdays at the local theaters which was about eight miles away. I rode my bicycle to and from....no problem !!

The legendary Jack Palance is in this, what a find. Charleton Heston too. Way too cool for an old fossil smoking a blunt surfing for movies amigos.

You guys are all too young and used to everything computer generated. It's a great movie and I've enoyed it immensely. I'm in my seventies. Wait another fifty years and see what the young ones say about your movies. I'll be dead then so won't care!!!❤😅❤

This movie has quite the cast. I recognized Tim Matheson, Dorian Harewood, Peter Boyle. Based on that I found out the film is called Solar Crisis from 1990. It also features Charleton Heston, Jack Palance, and Corin Nemec (who was later seen in Stargate SG-1).

I am a fan of 50's sci-fi. Any sci-fi generally. Not seen this one before! Big thumbs up. Jack Palance and Chuck Heston (Soylent Green is in my top 10 movies of all time). What is there not to like. Many thanks to the poster, much enjoyed.

This one got by me back in 1990. As I watched it, I was impressed with the effort and the tech. Had trouble keeping up w/ what’s going on at a few points. Reminded me the TV series “V” in look and tech level.
