Thousands return home to southern Lebanon as Israel and Hezbollah halt violence

Thousands of people are attempting to return home to southern Lebanon after a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hezbollah came into force.

Israel has warned residents not to rush back as it says the withdrawal of its forces will take place over the next two months.

📌Israel was in a very difficult situation. The Iron Dome collapsed, its military ammunition was low, it lost many soldiers. It thought of healing its wounds by forcing a ceasefire. This was the first time in many years that I saw Israel so helpless.
