Removing the volume knob and the physical HVAC controls is *ALWAYS* a step in the wrong direction.
A true driver's car should have real controls that you can use without taking your eyes off the road.

Bring back the two door and golf ball shift knob.

VWs do have a nice ride quality and the handling is great too. The interior isn't bad either, but I am trying to get accustomed to that front end though.

I have one thing to say, NICE LID BEN!

Amazing car even the base manual for just $30k — you don’t need anything else.

Those fog lamps on the GTI look silly.

Would love to have the R version...problem is...they're 45K, 50k after taxes and boat fee (dealer doc fee).

Not a fan of the over-tech'd interior. Perhaps VW will come to their senses for the mid-cycle refresh and go back to physical switch gear instead of that haptic nonsense

The infotainment is one reason I ordered a 2022 BRZ instead.

I like this Ben Davis guy. Can't wait for the full review. Finally an American spec car.

Don’t dig the Honeycomb Grilles that are so popular.

Since you guys have connections, pls tell VW they need to export Sciroccos to the U.S. Market. Never mind the VS business Strategy, they'd take sales away from the GTI. However you slice it, it's still another sale for VW. Win-Win!

Great looking modern interpretation of the “hot hatch”! Bit it NEEDS the golf ball shift knob! My issue with VW is long term ELECTRICAL RELIABILITY!!! I guess if you’re only keeping the car for 4 years or so, no big deal. But after that?!? …..good luck!!!

Wow! 60k or so for the R, tax finance and other dealer fees.

Touch screen rather than knobs = lower cost. It’s just a wrong way to do certain things
