How To Shred All Over The Neck In 5 MINUTES | The Octave Trick (Note Location)

Today we check out the powerful octave trick! With this little 'hack', you will be able to play all over the neck in just 5 minutes. We are working with a basic symmetrical scale fragment (6 notes of the G minor scale) and move it all across the fretboard. That way, we are also not trapped in a scale box and cover a large section of the fretboard without ever looking at a scale diagram. You also know which notes you are playing when you start thinking like that - and that always helps :)

I was progressing a lot. I still struggle understanding what I'm playing all the time but I had a really good guitar teacher. He improved my skills a lot. Then i broke my left hand (non pick hand) so all my speed and dexterity was very poor and there is some scar tissue. Now I'm trying to rehabilitate my playing hand and I'm stsrting to get my speed back. Still struggling a little to figure out what i'm playing exactly all the time but you're videos are excellent and I think I will greatly improve my skills and knowledge by watching you.
