The greatest music shorts on YouTube rn. It’s crazy how much I’ve learned from your shorts compared to all the longer videos I’ve watched for years. Keep going!

I’d like to see a full video on this rather than a short.

Really appreciate the frequent updates, especially the pitch shifter in noiseshaper! If you can, I’d really appreciate a vid or tips for importing noises. In particular, sometimes I want to sample a synth or harmonizing vocal to add texture/layers in noiseshaper. I loop the ‘sustain’ portion of the sample with itself but the ‘pitchy-musical-note’ part of a sample remains. Any techniques on how to basically ‘flatten’ the pitch of a sample? It can probably be done in melodyne essentials but I don’t know how?

Is there a way to load your own sound in the noise section, instead of having to choose the preset sounds?

Love these tips, thanks so much! Any way to use this approach/technology to make a midi file to then use on say a synthesizer? I sure would love to use the rhythmic information of a drum loop on an audio file or synth vst. Create some interesting choppy synth lines.

It's not nor stealing a groove it's just mixing drum loops elements into your own. My DAW Reason has thousands of drum loops included so I often Make My own and then add in bits of the Reason drum loop like the high hats or kick to enhance My beat.

Nice. Really cool. But can you then mute the original loop and use the new sound only?

i’ve done something very similar in the past using ableton’s noise vocoder but it took about 3 hours and many headaches and it didn’t even sound good. might need to get this plugin for myself this christmas

Steal? Not classy at all. I prefer to call it, borrowing without the intention of returning. 😎
