Love, Life, and Locks is a channel that is dedicated to documenting the sister lock journey and experience of loc and travel enthusiast, ibyl. ibyl started her natural journey in 2007 when she did the big chop. Almost two years later she started her sisterlocks journey in 2009. Since then she has used this channel to document her experience and encourage others along their journey. She hopes that through this platform she is able to help all loc wearers find the beauty in their unique set of locs and find useful tips and ideas for styles that are simple yet look complex. Happy Lockaversary! I saw your hair first on fotki. I had just big chopped my hair in 2009 I use to follow your albums and comment on your Thick and dense loose natural hair. And then all of sudden Bam! You introduced these tiny little locks and I had NOOO idea what they were. I can recall not understanding why you did that to your hair!??? A couple years later I definitely knew what they were but wasn't ready. I still wanted to "play" in my hair. Little did I know that I would get "tied" of that LOL. Now 8 years later, I got Sisterlocks... (4 mos old) .LOL man... if I would've known back then what you knew!!!? Now I feel like Flordia Evans, at James' Re-pass "ram, ram, ram!!" lol. Now I gotta wait! LOL.. (sorry I don't curse so had to sub it!! LOL... They look SOO Good!

Happy Loc-A-Versary! I didn't realize we share the same month for our loc - a- versary! I was five years on March 12th! You are definitely one of the reasons and inspirations as to why I got sisterlocks 5 years ago. Thank you so much for sharing all of your knowledge and insights with everyone regarding the locked life! Enjoy your anniversary and all the years to come.
