Gabe when you have a "Clean" Home, you're so much more happier and stable. You're more organized, efficient and you feel you live in a more Zen Environment.

"I don't need much to be happy..."as the cabinet door opens and there stands the coffee! :) Who else just needs coffee?!

Have to say the Buddhism principal is like that, find everything makes you happy and peaceful from inside of yourself. Love it.

The joy of having to not be bundled down with making decisions is priceless. Tv is their agent that persuades us to feel like we don’t have enough. Turn it off and get your true life back. I’am glad u addressed the issue of being afraid to throw something away for fear of needing it later, that in itself is the PRIME reason we accumulate clutter and excess. THANK YOU 🙏 🙏🙏

Your video living like Matt D'Avella was also my starting point. I had heard about minimalism before, but it never really cliked y'a know. The after your video I stated thinking about it. And started watching your other videos, learned about frugal living and FIRE. It changed everything. Thank you, Gabe. You literally changed my life. And has been a cathalizer of change since that. Thank you.

YESSS. All of this resonates so much, especially the point about thinking clearly. I still want to develop a minimalist wardrobe but I haven't found my "style" yet!

Been minimalist for 4 years now.. alot of changes in those 4 years so its took me a long long time to declutter everything (from living at home, to homeless, to getting my own house and having kids ect) that also ment I went through periods of accumulating things and then periods of decluttering and finally after 4 years I dont have alot of my things (my personal stuff, clothes, my stuff) and been decluttering different areas of my home as in finally settled in a house that's permanent

My son came into help me (I wasn't feeling my best) and had the few items I needed to clean done in nothing flat and he just did it all for me. His comment was "Wow Mom, I didn't feel like I was walking through a mine field today. I could just run the vac, dust, and dishes and whap I'm done. Very cool." Now that's not a lot said, but for him...it was a speech. I think I'm getting it right. LOL.
