This will go down as one of the biggest mistakes in franchise history, and if Luka Doncic ends up leaving the team... it will go down as THE biggest.

You forgot one thing once they were the 6th seed before trading for kyrie and then after the trade they dropped to the 11 seed

Brunson reminds me of an upgraded Fred Vanvleet both of them look like they work as a New Jersey gas pumper physically but both are BALLERS

Y’all do forget that they didn’t sign Brunson during the season cause of lack of playoff production. And they offered him a contract and he even said ima visit Dallas before anything else is signed. But he went to the Knicks and it was all done from there. No team got a visit and the Knicks tampered so I wouldn’t say they let him go. He made his choice up

You figure Cuban and the mavs would have learn from the nash situation back in the day

Imagine in the preseason, the Mavs let Brunson go to to the Knicks FOR NOTHING (and helped the New York reach the 2nd round of the playoffs before eliminated by the Heat), and mid season traded for Kyrie (which is uncertain if he's going to stay or leave) eventually cost them on defense and missed the playoffs or even the play-in.

The mistake they did to Nash just repeated itself.

luka doesnt need jalen brunson, he needs someone like kawhi or jayleln brown that can play in a system shoot off ball and guard the other teams best player

If Kyrie Irving leaves in the offseason, Luka should also request to be traded. He would be an awesome fit in Denver alongside Jokic.

We were fine letting him go. He couldn't realize his potential alongside Luka. We just need to attract better talent around Luka.

I have no idea what but Luka was clearly dealing with something heavy towards the end of the year, with no context I think holding him accountable for their collapse is harsh.

The pharmacy guy is just pathetic. He deprived Mavericks from NBA title. Imagine Luca and Brunson post season ? Luca has to go out of there asap.

Assuming Taylor Hendricks isn’t available at #10 would Mavs fans be interested in trading down.? The difference between #10 and #18 has never been smaller than it is in this years draft. Considering the Mavs are desperate for a lockdown defender…
Mavs get
Vanderbilt
2029 unprotected first round pick
#17

Lakers get #17

Lakers probably wouldn’t want to do this but if they did?

I think Dallas just runs Hero ball too much with Luka, they think he's their messiah or something but in reality he's limiting the potential of his surrounding teammates. He needs to share the ball more isntead of being a whiny baby ball hog that he is. That's why the Mavs aren't winning, it's not because he didn't get 50 points that night, it's because he hogged the ball and made the offense inefficient.

Also he needs to get back on defense and work on his cardio. It's so bad.
