Would be great if a game is reviewed by more than a single person and they each gave the game their own score, and then in the end we have a combined score (like metacritic). It can open up the discussion on the pros, cons of the game, plus you get insight from different players perspective.

So much of what goes into liking a game is subjective. It’s really not fair to say a review is bad just because it isn’t the score you wanted.

The people in IGN comments really need to understand that the number they stick on the end of a review is the least important part. You can't condense a personal series of thoughts and emotions down to a quantitative measurement.

Listen to the pros and cons and interpret how important they are to you. This focused dedication to numbers is lazy and useless
