They did hear one ghost and it hit the local news but the ghost literally said "I'm sorry" something something. Like he didn't mean to scare them. It was actually kinda cute. Poor spirit lol

I really appreciate the way he incorporated moving the mic away while yelling into the bit. It's a tiny detail but just makes the joke flow so well.
