Thank you so much for all of this information. I have no clue about Apple products but my son gifted his sister a watch before he left for college. Just got it and it had the green snake of death. Only thing is 1) I had the charger upside down 😂 2) had it connected to a power source with multiple jacks 3) it wasn't hooked up to a apple cube. I learned alot today. Thank you. I listen to your advice and follow it completely. I spent like 2 hours pushing the buttons so the battery die faster. Once it stop working, I plugged it to the charger and 15 minutes later the magic happened. Thank you for your advice.

My experience: Following his steps, I took my watch off of the charger. After about 8 hours, my watch died. I plugged my charger into the wall and placed my watch on it. The apple logo popped up. After about 30 seconds, the green snake of death came back. That was totally okay though because after about 15 minutes, the snake disappeared and the watch turned on. Thank you so much!!!!

FOR EVERYONE IN 2023. IF YOU HAVE A NEW APPLE WATCH INCLUDING THE ULTRA AND IT IS DEAD OUT THE BOX THEN YOU GET THE GREEN SNAKE. JUST PUT IT ON TRHE CHARGER FOR ABOUT A HOUR AND I PROMISE IT WILL WORK(MAKE SURE WHEN ITS PLUGGED IN THE CHARGE ICON IS GREEN NOT RED). IF THE ICON IS RED YOU WILL NEED A NEW CHARGER.

So I did this and it absolutely worked. Only thing I did differently was I kept making the charge image flash on, until it wouldn’t. Instead of letting it sit there and die, I figured I could expedite the process by getting it to die sooner.

Just coming back to this video about a month later. It took forever for it to die completely but it works just fine after fully charging it so just be patient. this video saved me hundreds. Thanks bro your the bomb

for my iWatch Series 6, took 5 days for its battery to be completely drained. Then i plugged it to my iMac using an USB and it work perfectly. Now it is workin perfectly

I never comment but can’t believe this worked! I was charging from a extension lead for 8 hours! And as soon as I plugged directly to the main wall within 10 minutes it worked Thankyou!

Worked perfectly!!! I tried it a couple times using the multi USB charger that i have and it did not work. The key seems to be plugging it directly into an outlet with a single apple charger. Thanks a ton for the help!!

I saw in another comment that you can connect it to the charger and then press both buttons at the same time for about two minutes. It worked for me!
