How will SpaceX do the hot staging trick? Why does SpaceX need so much concrete? Did the Starship 25 static fire go well? How many people will fly aboard SpaceShipTwo? And how can you simulate a Martian habitat here on Earth?

What do you think? When will we see the first Florida Starship? This year? In 2024? Will it be transferred by barge from Starbase, or perhaps built from scratch at Robert’s Road?

In the past, after any ship static fire, the chats came alive with regard to the number of heat tiles that fell off... However after ship 25's static fire, deadly silence! Progress for sure. regards

I feel the need to post this: SpaceX has made my life more profitable....Starbase has been a BIG customer of my company's - they made a few sites of mine work super hard - my company does the rebar for Starbase!

Great explanations of red shifting and Lagrange points. Nice to see that you put the effort to explain everything that you talk about in your weekly updates! Keep it up!

My wife and I met Chief while he was out taking pics at Starbase last Monday (6/26), over by the Rocket Garden. It was our first time to visit the site and it was amazing! Chief was helpful pointing out which Starships and boosters I was looking at. I didn't recognize the channel name at first, but now I realize I've seen several of your videos. Subscribed!

How is WAI still only at 280K subscribers? I've been watching since 2019 and this is the best space news channel there is!

Seems like there is a misunderstanding here. Why would the 3 center Booster engines still fire, after the Ship engines ignited?
As soon as the Ship engines are running the Booster can turn off it`s engines, so the ship can easily separate.

Felix great job of keeping us informed of Space X! As a retired Combat Engineer/ Structural Engineer which gives me many aspects of construction. I was corrected by a Major who clarified me when I mistakenly said pouring concrete in place. He let me clarify to you sergeant you don’t pour concrete we place concrete. If you don’t mind please say that concrete is being placed into the forms. Thanks and many thanks!

I hope you enjoy your first Independence Day here in the USA Felix. I personally like to sit/stand in my backyard, close my eyes, and listen to the sounds of the fireworks and image that this is what it sounded like during the revolutionary war. The sounds of muskets firing, and canons firing. And also remember those who died for our freedoms here in USA.

Heads up by the way if no one has seen it yet but there's a new reality show called stars on Mars. Pretty awesome little reality show, they took celebrities and put them in a martian environment and they have to survive including going on Mars walks in actual space suits. They're giving a bunch of challenges like exploding water containment units. It's pretty cool for a TV series especially since it's more of a reality show.

I'd like to say something actually, and I take the opportunity to be one of the first comments to say it.

I am SO IMPRESSSED about the speed of development by SpaceX for everything they do. I am not an Elon fan but what "his" whole team of engineers is capable of achieving in such a small time is really really really impressive. I mean, even 10 years ago landing a rocket back on Earth was sci-fi and now they've made it 200 and counting. Even the development of Starbase is really fast, I haven't seen anything like that in any other industry fields. It truly amazes me and I hope I am not the only one hahaha

And of course shoutout to Felix and the WAI team for making it possible for us to witness such updates!

Felix, your outstanding improvement in spoken English is nothing short of spectacular! This post has shown your mastery of clear expression and the level of perfect pronunciation and atmospheric intonation has left me speechless and gasping for oxygen. For a “Fritzer” you are showing the way in making English interesting and exciting to hear! Well done, You rock……..SkipRay, Kerry, Ireland.

I could imagine in the future that Space X would have a single launch tower surrounded by three launch pads, separated by short blast deflection walls.
Thus they could utilize the infrastructure staggering three or four launches per week.
